Obituary of Margaret Mary Branton (Eichenberg)

Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Sunday June 23, 2019, Margaret Mary Branton (Eichenberg), age 94, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late James C. Eichenberg (1963) and the late Robert Branton (1987). 

Born in Chatham in 1925, daughter of the late Delia (Labadie) and Joseph Toulouse.  Margaret worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.

Loving mother of the late James (Nancy), Robert (Debbie), Kurt (Phoebe), Susan Tomka and Lisa (Kevin) Violot. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.   

Predeceased by a sister Lorrayne Vincent and a brother Maurice Toulouse.   

Friends and relatives are asked to gather at St. Joseph’s Church (184 Wellington St. W., Chatham) on Friday June 28, 2019 at 10 am where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated.  

Cremation has taken place.

Burial of ashes in Maple Leaf Cemetery following the mass.
