Obituary of Omer Joseph Caron

Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Friday, July 19, 2019, Omer Joseph Caron, age 80, of Chatham, beloved husband of Gratienne Caron (Letourneau).

Born in Quebec, son of the late Germaine and Napolean Caron.  He is survived by his children, Daniel Caron (Michelle Leeming) of Gatineau, Quebec, Sylvie Caron of Chatham, Marco (Dawn Marie) Caron of Windsor and Jocelyn Caron (Sara Butson) of Chatham, 6 grandchildren, Eric, Jinny, Michelle, Kevin, Devon, and Marcel, and 8 great grandchildren.  Also survived by his sisters in Quebec, Lise (Gerald) Gamache, Anita Caron (Aurelien), Raymonde Caron, and his brothers in Quebec, Roger (Aline) Caron, Gérard (Raymonde) Caron, and his brother Remi Caron of Tilbury. 

Predeceased by his sister Therèse Larouche, brother Raymond Caron and a grandson Marc Polowick. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
