Peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home on August 7, 2019, Roy Harold Bennett, age 86, of Chatham, beloved husband of Mary Alice (Taylor) Bennett.  Born in Simcoe in 1932, son of the late Gladys (Bancroft) and George Bennett.  

Roy worked at Cunningham Sheet Metal. Motor Wheel and Domtar.

Loving father of Elaine (Gerald) Peltier, Frank (Carmella) Bennett and Kelley Bennett (Dan Southgate). Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Phyllis Finn (Leo-dec.). Predeceased by a brother Don Bennett.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday August 9, 2019.  

A Private Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel of the Funeral Home.

 Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
