Obituary of Melvin Wright

Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, August 19, 2019, Melvin “Bud” Wayne Wright, age 80, of Chatham.  Born in Chatham Township, son of the late Hazel and Buriss Wright.  

He is survived by his children, Richard (Cathy) Wright of Plattsburg, N.Y., Lisa (Conroy) Wright-Woodham of Oshawa, and Nicole Wright of Chatham, his grandchildren, Taisha, Quincy, Daphne, and Skyelar.  Also survived by his sister Shirley (St. Clair) Shadd of North Buxton and Bruce (Carol) Wright of Chatham and many nieces and nephews.   

Predeceased by his siblings, Elwood, Donald, Ken, Lyle, Janet, Bonnie, Anna, Thelma, Jacob, Kathleen, and Lela.   

Bud was a Deacon at Voice of Triumph Ministries. 

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 pm on Friday, August 23, 2019.  

Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10 am with Pastor Della Bost and Deacon Doug Wright officiating.  

Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
