Obituary of John Bocchino

Suddenly at his residence in Chatham, on Saturday August 17, 2019, John Bocchino at the age of 51 years. Born in Chatham in 1968, dear son of Giselda (D’Agnes) Bocchino and the late Pasquale Bocchino (2009).  

Loving father of Jessica and Branden Bocchino and their mother Lisa Bocchino. Cherished Nonno to Andre Bocchino Browning. Dear brother of Tony (Carmella) Bocchino and Josephine (Stephen) Lourie. Also sadly missed by nieces and nephews; Aldo, Guilanna, Simon and Anthony.

Even in the middle of Johnny’s struggles in life his big heart was evident by his compassion and concern for others, which lead him to initiate contacts to launch the Street Frenz Ministry, which reaches out to the homeless and people with addictions in the community by providing food, friendship and love.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday August 22, 2019 from 7-9 pm, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7pm.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church.

 Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
