Obituary of Norma Lucia Corrente
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Norma Lucia Corrente, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Bruno (2002). Born in Capodistria, Italy in 1928, daughter of the late Antonia (Rasman-Romani) and Antonio Baggio Favento.
Immigrated to Canada in 1957, worked in the flora greenhouses in Leamington and final residence in Chatham. Norma retired from Chatham Public General Hospital (CKHA-Chatham Campus).
Loving mother to Sergio (late Sylvia), John (Linda), Silvio (Mary Jean), Gabriella and Ric. Proud Nonna of John Jr. (Tara-Lyn), David (Chelsea), Laura (Craig), Julia (Samuel), Andrea (Korwin) Kimberly (Jeff) and Christopher (Rachel). Richard, Hope and Faith (1996). Cherished Bis-nonna to Titus, Justus, Lilia, Noah, Levi, Simeon, Greta-Lyn, Eva, Kaden, Zoey, Oliver and Lydia. Dear sister of the Yolanda Giordano Marsi (Roma) and late brother Mario Favento.
Norma will sadly missed by, sister-in-law Bianca and family (Trieste), sister-in-law’s Antonietta Ramani (Trieste) and Anita Totto (Argentina), niece’s Mariella husband Fabiano Squarcia and family (Pomezia), Maria, Antonia and family (Trieste). Antonio Perini and family, Alberto and Guliana Babich, Derna Pupulin, the Italian community and residence at the Village.

Visitation at Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William Street South – Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm where Catholic Women’s League prayers will be at 3 pm and parish prayers at 7:30 pm.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Agnes Parish on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 10:00 am.
Interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
