Obituary of Wayne Murray Duff
Suddenly, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, Wayne Murray Duff, age 71, of Chatham, most loved husband of Kris Meko-Duff.
Born in Chatham, son of the late Madge and Murray Duff. He is survived by his daughter Colleen Duff of London. Predeceased by 2 sisters and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Meko.
Wayne was owner and president of Murray Duff Enterprises Ltd., was a member of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce and involved in the planning and development of local subdivisions, as well as owner of commercial and residential buildings in Chatham, Sarnia and Windsor. Wayne received a medal from the Police Association for saving 5 people from drowning in Mitchell’s Bay.
Friends may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019.
Funeral Service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
