Obituary of Nancy Elaine Peseski

Peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday October 6, 2019. Nancy Elaine Peseski age 77, beloved wife of the late Thomas Peseski (2016). Born in Guelph in1941 to John and Elizabeth (Blackburn) Ayres.

Nancy was vice president and helped Tom run the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, Chatham from 1986-2009. Mum always had a great command of the English language, often correcting us as we grew up. She also loved reading and loved anything regarding the Royal Family.

Loving mother of Ron and Rose and their Children Erik (Sydney), Matthew (Sara), Zachary (Kerstin) and Bailey, Taffy DeVogelaere and husband Al “Bing” and their children Devon (Evan), Deryck and Megan and Dan and Lisa and their children Nathan and Claire. Dear sister of Bonnie Aubé and Betty Ann (Sandy) Stevenson. Also sadly missed by her dear friend of over 60 years to Pamela Brown. Sister-in-law of Caroline McPhee, Ken Peseski and Frank (Marilyn) Peseski. Predeceased by a sister Linda Wilson, a sister-in-law Ruth Peseski and a brother-in-law Jim Wilson.

Mum always cherished her relationships with the staff of the funeral home over the years and the outdoor summer parties at the house with them, thank you for your laughs and treasured memories.

Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday October 8, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm

A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday October 9, 2019 at 11 am with Deacon Steve Cartier officiating.

Cremation will follow and Entombment of ashes will take place at a later date in the Columbarium in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
