Obituary of Madeleine Dumais

Peacefully at her residence in Chatham, on Friday October 18, 2019, Madeleine Marie Rose Dumais, age 90, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Hugo Roy.  Born in Quebec in 1929, daughter of the late Azilda (Grondin) and Napoleon Domingue. 

She is survived by her children; Guy Dumais, Réjean Dumais, Remi (Carolyn) Dumais, Diane Rivard, Luc (Donna Lennon) Dumais, Gaston (Cammie) Dumais, Daniel (Theresa) Dumais, René (Jackie) Dumais, Joanne Dumais, Ghislaine (Gilles) Levesque, Lyn (Fred) Hames, Francis Dion (dec), and Pierre (Rachel) Dion. Sadly missed by 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Marie, Simonne, Pierette, Rolande (dec.), Yvonne (dec.), Paul (dec.), Gerard, Leo (dec.) Charles (dec.), Benoit and by many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by a grandson Steve.  

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday October 25, 2019 from 7-9pm where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 7 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 26, 2019 at 10 am in St. Agnes Church. 

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
