Obituary of Evelyn Peco

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Monday March 28, 2016, Evelyn Carolyne Peco, age 99, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Dr. Henry Peco (1970). Born in Windsor in 1916, daughter of the late Frances (Nosotti) and John Cogliati.
Evelyn was a Registered Nurse with St. Joseph’s Hospital and worked as a Secretary for Blessed Sacrament School.
Loving mother of Barbara Ann Restorick, Mary Frances (Louis) Giroux and Paul (Emma) Peco. Cherished grandmother of Jason (Janet), Benjamin (Ona), Simon (Kristy), Philip, Sharon and Gary and also sadly missed by 9 great grandchildren and a son-in-law Harry Denkers. Predeceased by a daughter Rosann Denkers (1980), a sister Genevieve Hilborne, 2 brothers Louis and Albert Cogliati and a son-in-law Romoe Restorick.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday March 31, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated on Thursday March 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.
