Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, Chatham, on Wednesday November 6, 2019, James Jhon Marshall, age 89, of Chatham, beloved husband of Beverley Anne (Burleigh) Marshall and the late Velma Marshall (2002). 

Born in Newfoundland in 1930, son of the late Lillian (Hutchings) and Charles Marshall. Jim was a roofer by trade and a member of the Salvation Army Chatham-Kent Ministries.

Loving father of Bonnie (Terry) Sharko, Vonneta (Paul) Innes, James (Kathy) Kealey and Scott (Julie) Kealey. Always remembered by 9 grandchilden and several great grandchildren. Also sadly missed by his sister Donna and very good friends Albert and Cathy Druer. Predeceased by a son Gary Marshall (2005), brother Andrew and 6 sisters; Daisy, Ruby, Gladys, Beatrice, Maggie and Mildred.

Friends and relatives may visit at The Salvation Army Chatham-Kent Ministries, 46 Orangewood Blvd., Chatham (519-354-8353) from 9:30am until the time of the service at 10:30 am on Saturday November 9, 2019.

A Funeral Service will then be conducted in the Church on Saturday at 10:30 am with Captains Stephen and Karen Holland officiating.  Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.

Donations to The Salvation Army Food Bank or the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
