Peacefully, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Monday, March 28, 2016, Yvette Jean Hunninck, age 88, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Frank Hunninck (1971). Born in Haaltert, Belgium, daughter of the late Elodia and Gus Van der Meulen.
She is survived by her son Brian (Wilma) Hunninck of Morpeth, her daughter Gail Hunninck Bouchard (Gilles Bouchard) of Oakville, her grandchildren, Adam (Nicole) Hunninck, Elizabeth Hunninck, David Hunninck, Michelle Bouchard, and Nathalie Bouchard.
Also survived by her sister Frieda Van der Meulen and brother-in-law Julien Van Boxstael, nephew Hans, his wife Linda and daughter Fumke, niece Gilberte Schmitz and family, David Calcoen and children Annelise and Pieter Calcoen, Katrine Calcoen and Johan Cotty and children Bieke and Anne-Sophie Igodt, Suzy Calcoen and Willy Moreels and son Andres Moreels, nephew Wily Marcq, wife Henriette and son Olivier.
Predeceased by her sisters, Elza, Suzanne, and Paula Van der Meulen.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 10 – 11 am.
A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11 am with Deacon Steve Cartier. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
