Obituary of Carl Patrick Evans

Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Monday November 25, 2019, Carl Patrick Evans, of Ridgetown at the age of 68 years. Born in Chatham in 1951, son of Pauline (Kresan) Evans and the late Robert Evans.  

Carl was an Engineer at Libby’s, a member of St. Joseph’s Church and a member of the Father James Assembly, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph’s Council 10436 where he also served as Grand Knight.

Loving father of Darlene (Jeff) Hainge and Patrick (Elaine Trahey) Evans and cherished grandfather of Jessica, Trisha, Natalie Hainge, Savanna Evans, Devon Spurgeon and great grandfather of Wyatt and Maddison. Dear brother of Anne Spurgeon, Larry Evans and the late Fred Evans (2016).

Also sadly missed by a nieces Carol and Rebecca Evans, Danielle Bird and a nephew Robert Evans and predeceased by nephew Kiley Spurgeon (2013).

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday November 27, 2019 from 7-9 pm, where Vigil and Knights of Columbus Prayers will be offered at 7 pm and 7:15 pm.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 28, 2019 at 10 am in St. Joseph's Church.

Visitation at the church from 9 am until the time of the Mass at 10 am.

Burial will be in Botany Cemetery.
