Obituary of Dave McCorkell

Peacefully, at London Health Science Centre University Campus on Monday, December 2, 2019, Dave McCorkell, age 64, of Chatham. Born in Blenheim in 1955, son of Nancy (Attewell) and the late Bruce McCorkell.

Devoted father of Joel McCorkell, Kaitlyn McCorkell, Matthew (Oana) Caron, and Daniel Caron. Beloved Papa to Brooklyn McCorkell and Cameryn Woodhouse. He is survived by his sisters Darlene Judah, Charlene (Don) Bond, Laura McCorkell, his brother Kelly McCorkell as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his sister Heather Blake and brothers Bradley and Scott McCorkell.

Dave loved building and tuning engines. As a respected member of the racing community, he was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He’ll be sorely missed by everyone.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dave’s life will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the KBD Club (34 Byng Ave.) at 12pm.
