Obituary of Maria Tiahur

Peacefully, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, December 16, 2019, Maria Tiahur, age 63, of Chatham, beloved wife of Orest Tiahur. 

Born in Ukraine, daughter of the late Michalina and Petro Kosar.  She will be sadly missed by her children, Natalia (David) Ytsma of Vancouver and Petro (Hannah) Tiahur of Komoka, and her grandchildren, James, Mia, and Ivy.  

Also missed by her brother Anatoly (Irina) Kosar of Ukraine. 

Predeceased by her sister Lena Sirenko and her brother Matviy Kosar.  

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. 

A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 11 am with Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating. Panikhyda Thursday evening at 7pm.

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
