Peacefully, at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Chatham, on Saturday, February 15, 2020, Joyce Anne Irene Mattheus, age 58, of Chatham, beloved wife of Daniel Mattheus.
Born in Simcoe, daughter of the late Elizabeth Youmans and Donald Goodison.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Ross Bates, David Bates (Isabella), and Richard Mattheus (Amber Williston) all of Chatham, her sisters, Sherry McLean and Kimberley (Pat) Moore both of Leamington, and 14 grandchildren. Also survived by a brother in law Paul LeBlanc and 8 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews, her mother in law Eileen Mattheus of Aylmer and her sister in law Suzanne Mattheus of London.
Predeceased by her sister Lea-Ann LeBlanc.
Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm with Pastor Mike Koppes officiating.
Cremation with burial of ashes at a later date.
Donations to Huntington’s Disease would be appreciated.
