Peacefully, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, February 27, 2020, William H. Hembree, age 91, of Grande Pointe, beloved husband of Blanche (Casier) Hembree. Born in Acworth, Georgia in 1928, son of the late Cassie (Styles) and Marshall Hembree .
Loving father of Houston (Dale) Hembree and M’Liss (Matthew VanArkel) Hembree. Dear Papa of Amanda, Jordan, Bailey (Jason), Morgan(Dwayne) and great Papa of Mikaylah and Austyn. Predeceased by his sons Marshall and Martin and all of his brothers and sisters.
William worked at Navistar and farmed for many years, he also enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place.
Donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
A Memorial Tree was planted for William H.
