Obituary of Howard Benson Barlow

Passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday April 10, 2020, Howard “Howie” Benson Barlow, of Chatham at the age of 68 years.
Born in Hamilton in 1951, son of the late Janet (Sheldrick) Barlow and Dr. Robert Blake Barlow.
Howie worked at the LCBO for over 30 years and was an avid Star Trek fan.
Loving father of Kimberly Barlow Lauzon (Nick) and Sarah Barlow Sousa (Dan). Cherished grandfather of Ryan and Natalie Sousa. Sadly missed by his sister Debora Barlow Pidgen (Dave) and by his aunts Beth (Bonnie) Porter and Marie Barlow. He will be missed by his beloved bird Petey. He was very close to his cousin Dr. Peter Sheldrick and also to several other cousins.
He will also be dearly missed by all the friends and staff of the Chatham Retirement Resort who showed such compassion and kindness towards him. Predeceased by a brother David Barlow (2009). A special thank you also to the Doctors and Nurses at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
