Passed away peacefully at her residence with family at her side on Thursday April 16, 2020, Mabel Mary Charron, of Chatham, beloved wife of Leopold Paul Charron.
Born in Wallaceburg on August 15, 1941, to the late Idella (Barnier) and Henry Demers and daughter-in-law of the late Harvey Charron and Marion (Couture).
Loving mother of Debbie Ramaut (Mike Powell) and Michael Charron (Melanie Maris). Cherished grandmother of Nicholas (Amanda), Jeffery and Jacob (Brooke) Goudreau, Stefanie Copeland (Justin) and Kyle Charron (Hayley), as well as Owen and Samantha Brown. Sadly missed by great grandchildren Cooper, Brody, Dylan, Indi, Nash, Max, Lilly and Phillip. Survived by siblings Gord, Clifford, Ursula, Virginia, Annette, Evelyn, sister-in-law Leona Moore (Herman), brother-in-law Edward (Cheryl).
Predeceased by siblings Gerald, Lucy, Jeanette, Linda, Eugenie, Lilly, Gerty and Arsene and by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral home visitation or service.
Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
