Obituary of Frank Dominic Vajdik

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Frank Vajdik on the 2 year anniversary of his passing.  It will be on Saturday April 30, 2022 at 11 am in Blessed Sacrament Church (145 Victoria Ave., Chatham).

It will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the KBD Hall (34 Byng Ave., Chatham).

With bucket list complete, “Frank” Vajdik of Chatham, husband and best friend of Helen (Kys) of over 62 years, passed away at the Chatham Retirement Resort on Sunday, April 26, 2020.

Dear father of Michael Vajdik, Patricia (Dan) Zimmer, Mary Anne (Harold) Ludschuweit and Barbara (Marek) Brecka; extremely proud Stacek (grandfather) of Amelia (Katie), Daryl (Brittany), Stacey (Sarai), Max (Lateeshia), Julian, Simon, Annika and Sophie; blessed Prastacek (great grandfather) to Walter, William and Helena; big brother of Joseph (Lorraine) and John (Marie).

Frank was proud to be involved in many organizations, but the ones dearest to his heart are his faith and Czech heritage, leaving behind many great friendships.

Due to current circumstances, there will be no public visitation at this time. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at a later date. Please no floral tributes; donations greatly appreciated to the Canadian Food for Children Chatham-Kent or Chatham Concert Band would be greatly appreciated.
