Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Sunday June 28, 2020, Earnest Patrick “Pat” Burton, age 86, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Leona (Nicolas) Burton (2004).
Born in Chatham in 1934, son of the late Kathleen (Brown) and Frederick Burton.
Loving father of Linda (Pat) Moody, Paul (Tamara Tulloch) Burton, Joe (Nancy) Burton and Cathy Burton (Jason Tulloch). Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Frances Huff and Fred “Bud” (Agnes) Burton Jr.
Predeceased by a son and his wife Pat (Cindy) Burton and by 3 sisters Josephine, Evelyn and Marjorie.
As were Pat’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service, Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home Ltd., Chatham (519-353-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
