Obituary of Christine Leokadia Formosa

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens, on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Christine Leokadia Formosa beloved wife of 69 years to Alfred Formosa.  Daughter of the late Maria (Stepien) and Boleslaw Berlowski. 

Loving mother to Mark (Mary Jo) Formosa, Diane Verschraegen, Veronica Formosa (Matt Garrod) and the late Charlie Formosa (2011).  Dearest grandmother of Mark Jr., Geoffrey, Adrian, Ryan, Stacey, Kiana, Keeva, Matthew, Kalin, 9 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter Elyse.  She will also be missed by her daughter-in-law Donna Formosa and many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her sisters Joanne and Alice. 

Christine enjoyed travelling extensively with her husband, whether it was hopping in the car for a road trip or on a plane to a far off destination. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham on Friday, July 31, 2020.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church.
