Obituary of Nick Olivastri

Olivastri, “Nicola” Nicholas – Nick passed away peacefully in CKHA on Monday March 7, 2015 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Margaret “Jean” Olivastri, (Chatham).
Loving father to Marcus and Judith (London), Beatrice (Ottawa), Angelo Paul (Alberta), Teresa and Les Willer (Saudi Arabia), Nick and Denise (Alabama), Mary Pat Fischer (Toronto), Christopher and Becky (Chatham) and Elizabeth (Chatham).
Predeceased by parents Angelo and Beatrice Olivastri (Windsor). Brother to Eugene and Italia Olivastri, Gloria Ritchie, Lillian Wrasse, and Laura Steiner. Nick will be missed by his fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren in whom he took great pleasure.
The family invites Nick’s many friends to join them on Saturday March 26 at 10 am at Br. 642 Royal Canadian Legion 39 William St N. Chatham for a Legion Service followed by A Celebration of Life and Prayers conducted by Father Frank Leslie.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to one of Nick’s favourite causes: Family Services Kent CHAP program, The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 642 Building Fund, TVO or Friends of the Earth for The Bee Cause.
