Obituary of Dorothy Blommestyn

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Tuesday September 22, 2020, Dorothy Blommestyn, age 100, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Ernest Rush (1956) and the late Joe Blommestyn (1982). 

Born in Pain Court in 1920, daughter of the late Edna (Therrien)  and Leo Bechard.  

Loving mother of Jerry Rush, Ronald (Coral) Rush, Mark (Camille) Rush, Paul (Denise) Blommestyn and Chirstopher Blommestyn. Sadly missed by several grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Theresa Lucio, Joan Lucio, Pauline Mortier and Roger (Geraldine) Bechard.

Predeceased by a daughter Janet Blommestyn, a sister Clara Clark and brothers Victor and Leo Bechard.  

 Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday September 24, 2020 from 7-9 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 25, 2020 at 10 am in Blessed Sacrament Church.
