Janice and the Butler Family
I like many am truly saddened to hear of Stan's (affectionately known as "STAN THE MAN") passing and extend my heartfelt condolences. I will always remember some of his famous one liners ... "i'm not sugar and won't melt" " you can't fire me i was never hired" "it's only money can't take it with you" and back in the day "Bye John Bye" (just to ignore his arch nemesis ). Will remember his kindness his love of country and western movies, music & can't forget his bikes love of coffee and cheese puffs. His big smile would say it all ... when something new was purchased for himself or as a Christmas gift or if it was Friday night dinner with family.
Those of us who have worked along side of him... will miss him like no other. It was an honor to have known him.
I hope your own cherished memories will be of great comfort to all of you.

Our condolences to the Butler family. Stan was along time friend of my brother Bob Bennett. Stan was always invited over for our big family gathering in August every year. He would come over and have " Bennett' as Stan called Bob to do something on his three wheeler, than they would take off both on their three wheelers to have a coffee somewhere. Stan was a good guy. We will miss you Stan. From Janet and Derrick Lammers, Joyce Bennett and of course Bob Bennett.

Sending our most Sincere Condolences to all of Stan's family. He was always a great, fun loving chat for us over the years as he travelled along King St., and stopped to chat with many of us in business. Bob & I always said " Stan is the Man". Now this kind friendly man will be flying high with the angels and his Lord. Rest in peace Stan, you will be remembered by so many in the community. Blessings and Prayers to the families.
Sincerely
Trish Nigh & Bob Smith

My sincere condolences to all of the Butler family. I cannot recall a time working at Lenover's when Stan was not there, and I started working there in 1967. Stan was a good man and was always buying new bicycles. His famous quote about money was "you can't take it with you". My dad, Keith, was also a resident at Riverview Gardens three years ago. He was there only one week prior to his passing but during that week I took him down to visit with Stan a few times. The circle of life. May he rest in peace.
