Obituary of Scott Robbins

Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Thursday, January 7, 2021, Scott Lindsay Robbins, age 65, of Chatham.  Beloved husband of Kathryn (Wild) Robbins .  Born in Hamilton in 1955, son of the late Marjorie (Fifer) and Ray Robbins .  

Loving father of Michael Fitzpatrick and Sarah Robbins.  Dear brother of Mark (Margaret Gay) Robbins and Dwight Robbins.  Son-in-law of Marilyn and the late Stan Wild.  Brother-in-law of Dave (Jayne) Wild, Janet (Bob) Gawne and Richard (Mary) Wild.  He was blessed with many nieces and nephews. 

Scott always cherished his time at home with family and friends.  Scott worked for 35 years with Frito Lay (Pepsico) as a salesman and enjoyed working and laughing with his customers at the various stores he serviced.  Scott was known for being quick-witted, having a great sense of humour and having a bright, positive outlook.  Helping anyone in need without a second thought.  Every December, for the past 35 years, he volunteered with Chatham Goodfellows with his closest friends and family.  One of his numerous cherished memories is Coaching Chatham Girls Softball for many years. 

As per Scott’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Scott’s life will take place at a later date.
