Obituary of Peggy Roe

At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, Margaret “Peggy” Roe, age 78, of Lighthouse Cove, beloved wife of Andrew Boyd and the late Gerald Roe (1993).  Born in Leamington, Ontario 1943, daughter of the late Veronica (Ward) and Aurel Gauthier.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Randy) Campbell, son Kevin (Barb) Roe,  daughter in law Lisa Matte Roe, step children Christine (Ken)Paquette and Jason (Dana) Boyd.  She will also be missed by her  5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and brother Ken Gauthier. 

She was a devoted retired nurse and the caregiver to many throughout her life. If you needed shelter or a hand to hold Peg was there no questions asked. May all who were blessed to have been touched her carry her torch of love and kindness.

As per Peggy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
