Obituary of Armand Laprise

Armand Oscar Laprise, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 67 with his family by his side. Born in Chatham, Armand is the son of the late Augustine and Marie Jeanne (Moore) Laprise.

 

Beloved husband of Bernice (Lozon) Laprise. Loving father of Larry (Maggie) Laprise, and Shelley (Chris) Ross. Beloved Papa to Lucas and Laryn Laprise, Ethan and Ava Vinagre, and Hayden Ross. Dear brother and brother-in-law to Laura (Jack) Renders, Dora (Orville) Couture, Roland (Kate) Laprise, Theresa LeClerc, Annette (Mitch) Caron, Sylva (Judy) Laprise, JP (Bernadette) Laprise, Louis (Janice) Laprise, Gus Jr. (Juliette) Laprise, Joe (Chris) Laprise, Roger (Patty) Laprise, Jerome (Natalie) Laprise, Jeannette (Rob) Howlett, Dave Sterling, Leonard (France) Laprise, Claud (Virginia) Laprise, Theresa (Dave) Devogelaere, Joanne (Phil) Duquette, and Jim Johnson.

 

Predeceased by his sisters Rochelle Laprise, Marie Anne Laprise, Yvette Sterling, sister-in-law Louella Johnson, and brother-in-laws Ronnie Lozon and Gary Bechard.

 

Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.

 

Armand was an extremely proud Papa traveling to cheer on his grandchildren at every hockey, baseball, and soccer game, dance recital, and swim meet. His favourite days were the ones spent with his family playing games in the yard, on the go-kart, playing cards, camping, fishing, and clay shooting. 

 

A private family service will be held in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery.
