At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Monday February 1, 2016, Lambertus “Bert” Johannes Bink, age 87, of Chatham, beloved husband of Maria (Willemse) Bink . Born in Molenschot The Netherlands in 1928, son of the late Maria (VandeBleek) and Johannes Bink.
Loving father of John Bink, Henry Bink, and Joanne Bink. Cherished grandfather of Courtney and Ainsley Bink. Sadly missed by 2 brothers in Holland, many nieces and nephews and a godson Peter VanMol and goddaughter Karen Vince. Predeceased by 3 brothers in Holland.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Wednesday, February 3, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 7-9PM, where Vigil Prayers will be offered at 3 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 10:30 AM in St. Ursula’s Church.
Cremation will follow with interment of ashes in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
