Peacefully at Chartwell Retirement Residence in Kingsville , on Monday May 31, 2021, Shirley Sheik at the age of 79 years.

Born in Chatham in 1941, daughter of the late Mary (Tomek) and George Toma. 

Shirley worked as a cook and as a Teacher’s assistant before her retirement.

Loving mother of Joseph (Laura) Sheik and David (Cheryl) Sheik. Cherished grandmother of Lorena, Christopher and Morgan. Predeceased by a brother Michael Charles Toma.

A Private Family Chapel Service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday June 3rd at 11 am.

Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.

Donations to the Diabetes Canada, Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
