Obituary of Wayne Coles

Peacefully at Village on the Thames, with his daughters by his side on Tuesday June 22, 2021, Donald “Wayne” Coles, age 71, former spouse of the late Genevieve (Pinsonneault) Coles (2007). 

Born in Chatham in 1949, son of the late Audrey (Clarke) and Donald Coles. He is retired from Siemens Automotive and had many many friends and fond memories there.

Wayne was an outdoorsman who truly enjoyed spending time with friends & family boating, fishing, having campfires and heading… “way back in the bush” of Huntsville, Muskoka. NASCAR was also a real passion of his, especially #3.

He was a very strong willed, independent man with a big heart, a kind soul and a witty sense of humour.

Loving father of Chantal Lachance, Christine Taylor, Jen Smith and Jeff Coles. Cherished grandfather of Kyezaiah, Sadella, Ashley, Megan and Rachel and great-granddaughter Aquinnah.

Dear brother of Deb Hooper, Janet Blundell, Bill and Ron Coles and predeceased by a brother Chuck Coles.

He will be missed by his best friend Warren and Anne Marie Beecroft.

In his honour, please raise your Whiskey & Water and give a toast to one hell of a Fighter!!

As were Wayne’s wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service.

Cremation has taken place.
