Obituary of Donald Joseph Zink

Peacefully at Chartwell Assisted Living, Aylmer, on Friday June 25, 2021, Donald Joseph Zink, age 92, beloved husband of the late Monica (Gilhula) Zink (2013). 

Born in Chatham in 1928, son of the late Agnes LaFleur and Joseph Zink.  

Loving father of Christine (John) Zink-Evely and Cameron (Judy) Zink. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer, Jeff, Heather, Ryan, Carl, Joseph, Daniel, Aaron, and Rachel and 14 great grandchildren. Also sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Mary Florence (Charles) Keech, Loretta (James) Robertson, Larry (Annette) Zink and Philip Zink.  

 Predeceased by infant sons Carl (1950) and Dennis (1951), a daughter Ann Marie Esbjerg (2002), a sister Claudia Wilcox (2015) and his step-mother Florence Zink (1994).

Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday June 28, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 29, 2021 at 11 am  in Blessed Sacrament Church.

Cremation will follow and burial of ashes will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date.
