Peacefully, at Chatham Retirement Resort, on Sunday July 18, 2021, Raymond Pierre Martin, age 92.  Beloved husband of the late Marie Jean (Myers) Martin (2003). Born in Dover Township in 1929, son of the late Alma (Pinsonneault) and Elzear Martin. 

Loving father of Eugene (Ericka), Gerald (Margaret) and the late Ronald Martin (Gloria) (Diane).  Dearest grandfather of Jeffrey (Nicky), Karen, Gayle (Dereck), Renee (Kyle), Adam (Kelli), Christopher (Olga), Benjamin (Vivian) and great grandfather of Taylor, Travis, Aubree, Khloe, Trent and Rosalina.  Dear brother of Claire Munt, Phil (Barb) Martin and Ed (Diane) Martin.  He is survived by sister-in-law Annette Martin. 

Predeceased by brothers Gus, Wilfred (late Grace), Lionel (late Diane), Jean Louis, sister Marie Therese Martin and brother-in-law Peter Munt.

Ray was a very hard working man having been at Meritor for 26 years and he enjoyed his wrestling as a favorite pastime. Ray was very religious and a strong role model for all his family. Many thanks to all the staff at the Chatham Retirement Home for all their loving care and support. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday July 20, 2021 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 21, 2021 at 10 AM in St. Ursula's Church.

Burial will be in Immaculée Conception Cemetery.

Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
