At the London Health Science Centre, University Campus, on Wednesday September 1, 2021,

Irene Caroline Douglas, age 76, of Chatham, beloved wife of 34 years to Kenneth Douglas. 

Born in Chatham in 1944, daughter of the late Reta (Myers) and Leonard Demers.

Loving mother of John Toth, Charlene Toth, Cheryl Sterling, Jeff Toth, Joe Toth (Nicole), Jerry Toth and Wayne Douglas. Also sadly missed by 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Dear sister of Elaine Frederick, Clement (Vickie) Demers, Bob (Helene) Demers, Daniel (Sue) Demers and Raymond (Liz) Demers. Predeceased by a son Jim Toth (July 2021), granddaughter Dalene Barrette (1988) and brother-in-law Bill Frederick.  

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday September 6, 2021 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday September 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Ursula's Church. Sign up here www.signup.com/go/fsECCdR   

Please note as of Saturday at 8 am all of the slots for the Mass on Tuesday are taken.

You don't have to sign up for the visitation however, we will only allow 40 people in the building at a time, including family. 

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Donations to Brentwood Treatment Centre in Windsor would be appreciated.
