Obituary of Camelia "Cam" Cadotte
It is with great sadness that the family of Cam Cadotte announce that she entered into eternal life on Friday October 1, 2021 surrounded by her husband Pierre (Pete) and her daughters.
Born in Saskatoon, SK on June 18, 1949, daughter of the late Irene (Provost) and Alphonse Mireau. Predeceased by her brothers Emile and Paul and her sister Alice.
Camelia is survived by her husband of 51 years, Pierre (Pete) and her four daughters, Amy Landry (Don) of Mooretown; Ann Marie Lindsay (Cal) of Guelph, Angela Soulliere (Jamie) of Pain Court, Amanda Beselaere (Rod) of Corunna. Mourning the loss of their Mémé are Alexander and Gabrielle Landry, Owen and Peter Lindsay, and Cole and Lukas Beselaere.
Camelia is survived by her cherished niece Terri-Lynn (Lee) Walker of England. Also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Francis and Shirley Cadotte, Janet (late Shurley) Cadotte, Barbara (late Byrne) Graham, Paul and Joanne Cadotte, and Joanne Forster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Camelia spent 25 years serving on the Diocesan Executive of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada and was a CWL member for 55 years. She was a volunteer with Right to Life (Refuge), Canadian Cancer Society, and St. Vincent de Paul.
Friends and relatives are welcome for visitation (no sign up necessary, please wear a mask) at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday October 5, 2021 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes' Church.
