Words cannot express the heartbreak I felt today to hear of the passing of my dear friend Sharon. I am at a loss for words. Sharon was my friend and she welcomed me into her life and family with a true heart for Jesus. She and her family filled my heart with the promise of the love of the Lord. For that I am eternally grateful. I had no idea that Sharon had been ill. My heart and prayers are going out to you today, Sandy and Hilda and Mary and Darryl. If there is one thing I might say about Sharon is her pride and joy and love was all about her family. She absolutely cherished you. I am truly sorry for your loss of this beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. God bless you at this time and may he fill your hearts with joy knowing that Sharon is in the arms of her beloved Lord. I love you.

To Sharon's family. I am so very sorry for the loss of your Sharon. She was a gentle, caring, funny and passionate woman. I met her in my early 20's when we both worked for the CK Youth Employment Counselling Centre (St. Clair College). My nickname for her was "Rock Steady" and whenever I called her that, we'd break out into a fit of laughter (even in our 50's we'd laugh so hard...a great memory!) We re-connected about 8 years ago at PFC and I was so very happy to learn that she served the Lord. What I will always remember about Sharon is her unwavering faith, her love for her family, her laughter and her keen sense of style...she was a beauty both inside & out! I asked her to pray with me over a year ago & she didn't hesitate for a second. The prayer was answered. My thoughts & prayers go out to you, her precious family, as you both mourn & celebrate her life!

So many good memories growing up on the “20 acres”. Was divine intervention that those 6 young cousins (Mary, Sherry, Sandra) (Dan, Me, Ally) we’re all roughly the same age and got along so well…for the most part lol. From biking to the nearby ponds in the hot summer to playing bats on the front lawn we were inseparable. I still can hear Sherry say, “l’m right and your wrong Bobby cause I’m a day older than you”!
