Obituary of Leslie Russell

Passed peacefully to paradise, with his loving family by his side, on Thursday November 4, 2021, Leslie “Les” Jackson Russell, age 74, of Windsor.

Beloved husband of Lillian (Larsen) Russell. Loving father of Bill Roubos and his wife Rachelle, and adoring Papa to Brooke. 

Born in Chatham in 1947, son of the late Evelyn (Jackson) and Ivan Russell. Dear brother of Margaret Rea, Audrey (Bob) Sherry, and Ernie (Eleanor) Russell.  

Predeceased by brother Garnet and wife Dorothy and brother-in-law Nick Rea.  

Les proudly worked as a Sheet Metal Fabricator in Chatham until his retirement. He will be remembered for his cheerful personality, vivacious wit and heart of gold. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Monday November 8, 2021 (no sign up necessary). 

Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday November 9, 2021 at 11:00AM with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Please sign up for the service only at www.signup.com/go/YwGiSnb or  by calling the funeral home. 

Cremation will follow the service and burial of ashes at a later date.
