And so your journey through life as come to an end, as it does for us all. However, what remains are the memories of those who have travelled with you, sometimes from afar and sometimes near. Each with their own point of view. You were apart of your journey and thanks for being with us on the ship of life.

Dennis and I are so very sad about Clem’s passing. We have so many wonderful memories of walking our dogs and visiting with Fran and Clem on Sunnyside Ave, and enjoying a few bubblies at the Imperial Club and The Moose. Such an amazing gentleman with so many interesting stories. I had the privilege to see Clem again when I was a screener at RVG…he still had that twinkle in his eyes. I remember how proud he was at the Remembrance Ceremony at RVG in 2020 when Clem and a handful of veterans were honoured in a celebration in the gardens complete with bag pipes. It was such an emotional tribute. We hope, Judy and the rest of the Ritchie family, all your memories of a long life well lived will bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead.

My sincerest condolences to the Ritchie Family. Clem was the consummate Volunteer. He knew how to get things done, no matter what. In the Kitchen, or on the floor, he brought people together. I still remember how he offered and set up help for the Polish Canadian Club during the busy Festival of Nations. Our ovens had broken down and Clem quickly arranged for us to use 628 Legion's ovens - for a couple of days - as we worked from across the street at The Armoury. Nothing but Respect for this man. Rest In Peace Clem.

My heartfelt condolences, thoughts an prayers to you all. I’m a PSW at Riverview Gardens LTC. Clem was a very sweet caring man, he was so thankful for anything we did for him. I never seen him every day but Clem never forgot who I was. He never wanted to talk about himself or his pain etc he was so worried about me an my injuries at work. He always tried to help me out no matter how he was feeling. Clem an I had a bond an after my big surgery an my 6/7 months off in the start of COVID. Clem remembered me when I came back to work, his first question was “how are you, how did you make out with your hip replacement an I’m glad your back”.
Clem will never be forgotten, he will always be a part of my thoughts an my heart.
I will not say Goodbye-it’s more like “see you later”my friend
