Obituary of Mel Ripley

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus, on Wednesday February 8, 2023, Melvin “Mel” Allan Ripley, age 83, of Chatham, beloved husband of Gloria May (Jackson) Ripley. 

Born in Chatham in 1939, son of the late Nellie and William Ripley.

Mel was a Veteran and a member of Branch #642 Legion.

Loving father of Shelley (Ken) Andrews, Pam Randall and Brent (Tammy) Ripley. Sadly missed by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ida Trottier. 

As were Mel’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 1 pm until 3 pm.

The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
