Obituary of Cindy Lou Lacina

Peacefully at her residence in Chatham, on Thursday February 9, 2023, Cindy Lou Lacina, age 63, passed away.

Beloved wife of Mark Lacina and daughter of the late Carol and Jack Edds.

Cindy was the loving mother of Georgina Lacina and Eric (Heaven) Lacina.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and a member of the Catholic Women’s League (city). Cindy was an at home daycare provider for 24 years and she cared deeply for all the children and parents she helped over those years.

Dear sister of Sandra Andrusiak, Linda (Rob) Smyth, Mark Edds and Bryan (Chrystal) Edds and sister-in-law of Jerry (Vivian) Lacina, Dan (Jackie) Lacina, Charlie (Kathryn) Lacina, Joe (Oksanna) Lacina and Peter Lacina.

Daughter-in-law of June Lacina and the late Charles Lacina (2016). Also sadly missed by 8 nieces, 9 nephews and 15 grand nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Friday February 17, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 18, 2023 at 11am in St. Joseph's Church.

 Parish and C.W.L. prayers will be at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 3 pm.

Donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, the Cancer Society or P.A.W.R. would be appreciated.
