My sincere condolences to Floyd’s family and friends. I taught Floyd at CCI. He was a terrific person, so sincere, caring and thoughtful. I enjoyed teaching him. He made me laugh and was certainly a bright light at our school.

I’m very sorry to learn of Floyd’s passing.
Half way through grade 6 I moved schools , from McKeough to Victoria Park. It wasn’t easy, but people like Floyd made it so much better. He was such a kind, gentle person who was so easy to be around. Even after high school it was always nice to see him, and briefly ‘catch up’. He will truly be missed, and remembered.

Floyd was always an easy guy to talk to, he was a hard working teammate in basketball, although coach handsor had us do 16 in 1s running those till everyone on the team made it, Floyd struggled to make the time and we'd all have to do it over, again and again, but he never gave up and worked his butt off, we were only a team of 9 guys but we were definitely in better shape then all the rest of the teams and I guess in a way we had Floyd to thank for that, so a hero to our team on the court in grade 9, and stayed a hero to the day he left us.......will miss our random run ins and chats, go Habs RIP my friend

I'm so sorry to hear of Floyd's sudden passing. I was one of Floyd's teachers and football coach at CCI. He was a committed student/athlete and great teammate. Floyd was very unselfish, always putting the team's needs above his own.
He had an infectious smile and a fun sense of humour.
Everyone loved Floyd.
He will be missed.

Our mothers were good friends and you both were like family. The many days you and my brother Brandon hung out or played ball at Talor Park were too many to count. We went to Vic Park and C.C.I. You were like another big brother. You were athletic and fun to be around. I am so sorry this happened to you at a moment you were doing what you did best, helping people. The East End will always be home and your memory will always be there Floyd. Life lost another amazing soul. Love you man ❤️

My deepest condolences lie with those mourning the loss of Kenith Floyd, a man whose memory exudes affection, intelligence, and kindness. His friendship with my son Brandon, which began in public school, was a testament to his loyalty and companionship. As we remember him for his contagious smile and big heartedness that brought laughter into our home; we salute Floyd - a true hero who will never be forgotten. This is not a goodbye but anticipation to see him once more. Rest peacefully Floyd.
