Obituary of Kenith "Floyd" Selby
Suddenly at his residence, a hero was called home on Tuesday September 19, 2023. Kenith Ron “Floyd” Selby of Chatham at the age of 43 years.
Born in Chatham in 1980, son of the late Martha Sherry Selby and Survived by his Father Charles Larry Glassford (Christina) and Sister Pamela (Paul) Bechard, Brothers Mark (Shari) Glassford, Rick (Carrie) Glassford, Charles Glassford. Also survived by Aunts Joyce Lambkin, Sheila Selby, Noreen Thorpe, Marie (Selby) and a cousin Floyd Porter.
Predeceased by his grandparents Barbara and Jack Selby.
He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Floyd was a Hero always putting others before himself. Floyd loved Basketball, Football, Hockey, as many already eluded to always seeing Floyd shooting Baskets at Taylor Park, countless Sunday mornings playing road hockey with his Brothers and Father.
Floyd played High School Football for the C.C.I Cougars and a huge fan of the Montreal Canadiens NHL team. Floyd had an infectious smile and laugh and was a kind, gentle man.
As were the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

All Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of life for Floyd Selby on Saturday Oct.28/23 Between 2pm-5pm at the Kayo Boxing club located at 100 King St.W (DCC) .
We ask you please bring your own refreshments and if possible a side dish or salad or dessert as this will be a potluck event.
The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) is in charge of arrangements.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
