Dear Arthur and family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your remarkable mother. I remember her dignified and gentle demeanor well from my visit to her home during our epic baseball odyssey after medical school, and of course from your wedding. But most of my memories are from the way in which you so often spoke of her - always with such respect and with profound admiration for her wisdom.
