Obituary of Dorothy Donais

Peacefully at London Health Science Centre - Victoria Campus, London, on Monday June 3, 2024, Dorothy Genevieve Donais, age 96.  Beloved wife of the late Louis Donais (2002).  Born in Chatham Township on August 24, 1927, daughter of the late Lorraine (Comeau) and Gilbert Laprise.  

Loving mother of Judy Wilson (Brian Gleiser), Jane (Aurelio) Pirocchi and the late Ken Donais.  Dearest grandmother of Adam Wilson (Emily), Cameron Wilson, Sarah Backman (Brent), Laura Mitchell (Jeff), Nathan Pirocchi (Gini), and great grandmother of Parker, Evan, Caitlyn, Taylor, Kylie, Devin, Adelaide and Leandro.    

She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sisters Bernice Thorpe, Beatrice Benoit, Evelyn Baillargeon and her brothers Harvey, Ernest and Leo Laprise. 

As per Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 28, 2024  at 11 am in St. Ursula's Church (205 Tweedsmuir Ave. E., Chatham)

A private family interment will take place.
