Obituary of Shelley Rae Bas

Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Wednesday June 5, 2024, Shelley Rae Bas, age 63, of Chatham, beloved daughter of the late Bonnie (Johnston) and Murray Syrie.

Shelley was a Lab Technologist with the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

Loving mother of Steven, Jeremy and Ryan. Dear aunt to the late William, Lana, Justin and Josh. Also sadly missed by several cousins. Dear sister of Scott (Mary Beth) Syrie and the late Penny Bonner. 

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Monday June 10, 2024 from 6-8 pm. 

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday June 11, 2024 at 11 am in the Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jaime Tiffin officiating.  

Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
