Obituary of Wesley Freeman Hooker

Peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Tuesday July 23, 2024, Wesley Freeman Hooker, age 75, of Chatham, beloved husband and best friend of Charlene (Moon) Hooker.

Born in Chatham in 1949, son of the late Doreen (Bondy) and Wesley Hooker.

Wes owned and built with his family Countryview Golf Course. He was also an avid model car collector and hobbyist and a member of St. Ursula’s Church.

Loving father of Wesley R. Hooker (Paula) and Jonathan Hooker (Candace). Cherished grandfather of Jessica Hooker (Tyler), Kensley and Ciana. Dear brother of Dennis (Brenda), Randy (Deb) and Kirk (Dianne). Also sadly missed by a sister-in-law Joy Schwarz (Terry) and by many nieces and nephews.   

Friends and relatives may visit at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Thursday July 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.  

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Ursula's Church.  

Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
