Hearing of Lillian's passing brought back many happy memories , that her niece , Michelle Anne Denomy Darby , shared with me, during our time in Chatham. Francis and Lillian were very loving and generous people. Michelle and I had a special place in our hearts for Lillian. Lillian will be sadly missed. Mrs. Denomy always had a smile for everyone. I remember her being so soft spoken and her gentle way of putting others at ease. Such a caring considerate woman who touched a good many people during her journey on earth. May she rest in peace.

I knew Lillian in person only a little, but more through her daughter Elizabeth my dear friend. Lillian died on Elizabeth's birthday, and her peaceful death at the end of a long and good life was a gift. My warm thoughts, and those of my husband John O'Connor, are with Lillian's family and friends.

My Aunt Lillian was one of the sweetest and funniest ladies I have ever met. She possessed an innate ability to turn a phrase or comment into sharp satire, always surprising me with her soft voice and docile manner. Whenever I stayed over as a guest at their home, she made me feel special and welcome even though she already had six children to care for and was always busy with them. I have many fond memories of being included in their big clan and feel privileged to have known her. Rest in Peace, Aunt Lillian, and my condolences to her family. Sharing your sorrow in your loss. A sweeter lady there never was....my joy and priviledge to laugh with and care for her. I will miss those morning hugs and kisses and your genuine smile and hilarious last comments as one would hear as they left your room at St. Andrew's.
