Obituary of Edward Carriveau

An inspirational and beloved Husband, Brother, Friend, Father, Grandfather, Educator, and Coach passed away Wednesday February 7th, 2018.  One of thirteen Riverside Frank Avenue Corriveaus, Eddie Calyx Carriveau is forever cherished by his immediate family, late wife, Sharon; special friend Lady Jane; daughter, Renee; son, Rupp; son in law, Tim; daughter in law, Cora; and grandchildren, Taylor, Baylee, Sawyer, California, and Catalina. 

His generosity flowed from the football field to the classroom, and to the people and places in between.   He found ways to cultivate the best qualities in the meek and the mighty.  Humour and humility were among his sharpest gardening tools.  We know your influence will go beyond extra innings. Go get’em Tiger! 

Words of remembrance will be shared at 10:45 AM in St. Joseph’s Church followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Monday February 12th, 2018.  Cremation will follow.

Following the Mass on Monday a light lunch and refreshments will be served at the Retrosuites in Chatham from 12:30 -3:00 pm.
