We are so sorry for Bea's sudden passing. We have many fond memories of times shared over 40 years. She truly was a remarkable lady & brought happiness to many. Bea's faith shone through her many acts of kindness, sense of humour, love of family, friends & community. We admire her connection to the Church & the role model she was for all.
Today's tributes at her memorial service were very heartfelt & truly captured her spirit. Greg did an amazing eulogy. We enjoyed hearing so many stories about her life, including stories of John, caring times by Elizabeth, Tom & Donna. Memories of the 5 grandchildren shared by Melanie & Hillary on behalf of themselves, Heather, Jessica & Brittany were heart warming. They all truly loved their grandparents & inherited many of their qualities. Starr & Tom both spoke well & their love & admiration for Bea was felt. The slideshow & photos were very nicely shared; so many memories for all to enjoy. Bea & John will be forever remembered & loved.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of your Mother and Grandmother. Bea was such a wonderful ,warm, giving lady with a remarkable smile. She was a dear friend to my parents Ted and Marge Penney and family. Bea was a lifeline to my father after my mother passed. She gave him friendship, meals and allowed him to drive her places which helped occupy his time and in part fill his need to help others. I unfortunately will not be able to accompany my sisters to the memorial service but my heart will be there and I will be thinking of you all at this sad time.

I grew up on Tourangeau Rd. in Windsor, two doors from the Wright family. Everybody knew everyone else and all the parents were our parents. What a great time to grow up when you could go to any house, be safe and have someone you could always trust.
One of my favorite memories of "Queen Bea" as she was later to be called, was as she was talking on the phone - they were attached to the wall in those days- when Donna and Liz started quarrelling just out of her reach. Mrs. Wright didn't miss a beat -took off her shoe and threw it at them -the argument stopped and her conversation continued.
She was a great Mom and a good neighbor. We'll all miss her. Rest in peace.
Louise and Brian

It is sad - sad news that I lost my very dear Aunt Beatty this past week. Just a wonderful lady. Given she did not live that far away growing up, I collected thousands of great experiences and cherished memories. My deepest condolences go out to her children, Donna, Liz (&Tom) and Greg (& Starr) her grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and all of the extended family. No matter where I was, or how old I got, she always remembered my birthday with a hand written card and (until they went out of circulation) a $2 bill. I am richer because I had her in my life!!
