I have so many wonderful memories of Don from our childhood family get togethers, public school at St. Mary's and into high school. One of my fond memories were the times we would go to Smitty's after church, and my mom would always ask to see him so she could give him a big hug!! He gave great hugs and could always make me laugh and smile...he'll be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Lots of love, Ellie

I have known Don for a great part of my life. Lived with him and Madeline for years. So many great memories watching the Blue Jays and shared a lot of laughs with him. He is the reason I tried peanut butter and cheese whiz sandwiches which everyone thinks is gross. Lol. He was like a brother to me. Always told you like it was and also listened to what u had to say. I will miss him greatly. Love u forever!

Don would do anything for his family and friends. He had a great sense of humour and he treated my daughter, Emily, like his own. My daughter would always come home bragging how Don made bacon and eggs or pancakes for breakfast. Our love and prayers for healing go out to the family.
